Parent and family volunteers make game days, tournaments, team events, fundraising, and communication easier for every player.

Team Support

Volunteer Roles

Thank you to the parents and family members helping run the season.

General Manager

Dealing with Waxers/YSMHL, Waxers site, GameSheet/iPad, referee and timekeeper payments, apparel order, and coordinating with committees.

Scheduling Manager

Liaise with the Waxers Scheduling Manager, book games, and research and schedule tournaments.

Bench Staff

Support the bench during games and help the coaching staff keep game days organized.

Trainer

Help on the bench during games, ideally with experience supporting players and staff.

Videographer / Social Media

Support video sessions and team media so players can learn together and families can follow the season.

Team Treasurer

Manage team budget, payments, and team bank accounts.

Social Committee

Organize a team summer event, Christmas party, and year-end party.

Sponsorship Coordinator

Coordinate acquisition to help meet team goals and track updates about available apparel sponsors.

Team Fundraising Coordinator

Coordinate the fundraising the team will do throughout the year or lead specific fundraising events.

Home Game Music

DJ at home games and help create a strong rink atmosphere.

Team Statistics

Collect statistics for the coaching staff, including shots on goal, plus/minus, scoring chances, and other game notes.
